Robot Santa, Andy the Android, and Minion welcome Brand Builder Website's tech gift ideas.

Before I begin let me first state that neither I nor Brand Builder Websites is in no way receiving a commission for any of these products. I have made a best effort to remove any tracking information from any links posted here. I have also made a best effort to only include items that are still in stock.

Tech Gift Ideas for Mobile Device Owners

Tech Gift Idea: Anker® Astro 5600mAh Portable Power Bank Pack.

For your constantly on the move friend consider an external battery back.

Battery Packs

I think it’s safe to say that people love their smartphones. They take them with them wherever they go. While device manufactures have worked tirelessly to improve battery life, they always only talk about battery life in terms of idle time or talk time. Actually having the screen on and doing eats up a ton of juice. That means you need to charge that phone constantly. That’s okay if you’re driving a lot or can find an outlet. But what if you’re going for a walk?

That’s where the idea of an external battery pack comes in. Anker makes some great battery packs that rank as high as 15000 mAh. To put that into perspective the new iPhone 5S has a battery of 1570 mAh. That means Anker’s packs are nearly 10 times the power in the latest Apple iPhone. Unfortunately only the 5600 mAh version is still in-stock and fulfilled by Amazon. There were more powerful versions available from Amazon when I started to write this post, but they have since sold out. Order quick!

Keyboards

Tech Gift Idea: Celluon Magic Cube Laser Projection Keyboard.

Let’s be honest. Typing on a tablet or a smartphone isn’t a pleasant experience. Yes, easier with a larger screen, but ultimately it’s better to have a real keyboard. Bluetooth keyboards work with pretty much any existing popular mobile device.

Or you could go with the Celluon Magic Cube Laser Projection Keyboard. This handy little device actually projects a keyboard and detects keystrokes based on where your finger breaks the plane. Another cool thing with the Magic Cube is that you can use it as a mouse by pressing the function key and their special mouse key. It definitely takes some adjustment — both in terms of typing and key placement. Still, it’s a cool device.

Tech Gift Ideas for Geeks and Gamers

For geeks and gamers I recommend heading over to ThinkGeek. They have many cool gifts that practical like the G-Pak Organizer Carry Case to travel mugs and action figures.
