I’ve been meaning to post this for a while, but Marvel just posted a spoiler image for the upcoming movie. Holy underwhelmed Batman! They better have some sweet special effects to make the symbiote costume look cool. As it stands this is just dull and boring.

And what’s that you say? You caught that little name listed before the villain of this movie? That’s right — Peter Parker’s very first love interest is in it! I honestly can’t understand why they are bringing her in for this movie — we already had a callback to her death scene in the first one when the Green Goblin threw Mary Jane off the bridge. What are they going to do with her, build her up so that Harry can kill her when he goes mad and becomes a Goblin (Green Goblin or Hobgoblin)? They already built up the Peter-Mary Jane movie relationship to be the Marvel Universe proper/Ultimate Universe relationship, meaning that they will have her act like her Ultimate Universe self (like Mary Jane originally used to)? This makes my head hurt. Oye.
